Fiona supports community impact as a nonprofit consultant with an emphasis on grant proposal development. Her experience ahead of independent consulting includes directing the development strategy of the nonprofit dedicated to Florida’s 15th Judicial Circuit Guardian ad Litem Program. Prior to this role, Fiona managed and trained court-appointed Volunteer Child Advocates and provided best-interest advocacy to children in the dependency court [foster care] system as a Child Advocacy Manager. She provided direct services to children removed from their parents due to abuse, abandonment, or neglect- including children identified as juvenile victims of commercial sexual exploitation. Before her work in child welfare, Fiona served four years in state prosecution support and victim services. Advocacy has been a defining part of her personal and professional life. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Government and is a candidate for a M.S. in Global Development and M.B.A. at Palm Beach Atlantic University. Soon after relocating from Washington, D.C. to Palm Beach County in 2016, Fiona joined the HTCPB as a community member. She joined the Board as a Member At Large in 2020.
